Robert A. Lengeling graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2000 and went to work as a law clerk to the Hon. Peter Irvine. He moved to Sioux City, Iowa, and joined a thriving general practice law firm where in a very short time he developed a reputation as a top trial lawyer. Quickly realizing criminal defense was his passion, Robert committed a large part of his practice to federal criminal defense.

In 2005, Robert moved back to Minneapolis with his family and devoted 100% of his practice to aggressively defending people accused of crimes. At least 80% of his practice consists of DWI/DUI cases. He has appeared numerous times before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Iowa Court of Appeals. Robert prides himself on giving individualized attention to each client he represents.

Robert lives in the south metro with his wife and two children. Other than going to court, his interests include rugby, running, cooking and anything else his kids want to do.
